The Man: I am best described as a fifty seven year old grizzly bear, without the fur coat. I am told that I have a great sense of humour, am easy to work with and reflect my passion for photography in my lifestyle. I am also C.R.B. (Criminal Records Bureau) vetted. The Photographer: One - who neither desires nor claims any of the titles of amateur, semi professional or professional. I believe that the ingredients essential to creating great photographs is THE LOVE OF MAKING THEM; and above all – I endeavour to NEVER, EVER allow myself to forget that photography is about PASSION, CREATIVITY, and most of all FUN. A WORD OF CAUTION - MY LOVE OF PHOTOGRAPHY IS ADDICTIVE!! Style: Natural photography – I prefer to use natural light, actual locations and models. I am actively seeking to develop the technical aspects of my photographic skills so that I do not rely totally on my instincts. Real models? - People who want to be an active participant in a creative experience. I enjoy and respond creatively to the active participation of the model in the shoot. This can be great fun, but exasperating when the ‘model’ just ‘poses’. Locations: Generally - the shoots take place at the model’s, the models friend’s home or at an outdoor location. I have a portable lighting system and will use this where required. Other locations are available but require advance notification before they can be used. TFP/CD work: I believe that we need to constantly be assisting "newbie’s" to present their portfolios in the best, most cost effective way possible. I prefer the model to arrange her makeup, styling and clothing as this helps with keeping costs down. I also remember how difficult it was to get my foot on the first rung of the ladder. So how does TFP/CD help you? Well you get the photographs you want and I get the portfolio I desire. BY the way - TFP does not mean Time for Payment!! PAID work: I will undertake paid work where the model desires copyright of the photographs. My rates are reasonable – just ask me for them. I am open to negotiating my rates if the photographs will enhance my portfolio. For instance, I will discuss sharing the costs where specific high value items are required for the shoot. Genres & Themes: All genres and themes will be considered. I am always seeking new projects. So if you have specific ideas in mind then get in contact and let us see whether or not we can turn those ideas into reality. I specialise in Boudoir work for ladies wanting that special gift!
