I'm a 38 year old photographer based near to Ipswich, Suffolk. I am originally from Essex and indeed still shoot there extensively. I have well over 20 years SLR camera experience, digital since 2004. I've been both employed and self-employed status as a professional wedding photographer. As ajcphotography I also cover model portfolio creation and enhancements, makeovers, portraits (as well as commercial projects that I may be well suited to). I've been on several other websites like this since 2001/2002. Also see my own website (as my alias here with the '-om' ending.) The crux of what I want to achieve in 2009/2010 is to raise the bar, slow down with my shooting style & achieve more 'killer shots'. I DON'T want to exclude new local models ... but must now seek out the right individuals to work with. More than whether you are EXPERIENCED or BEGINNER, NATURALLY CONFIDENT or SHY - I am looking for individuals that act 'themselves' - I will spot fakes 'n' cliche false 'fronts' a mile off. I could be seeking a classy 'refined' look or just raw beauty and innocent appeal. Either which way - can you adopt great poses without instruction ? (be they very natural looking or high fashion 'false'); Are you able to 'SEE' artistically / creatively ? This will aid immensely in achieving the image in my/your head. Let's not forget to have fun though - Even though I am learning to take a more clinical and planned approach to shoots, 'manufacturing' shots in a production-line style is NOT my thing. I am available for hire and will selectively work in collaboration with the right model (DO please contact me if you feel that your 'look' ... combined with an OUTWARD EXPRESSIVE PERSONAILTY, will enhance my portfolio.)
