Hi I was wondering if my non professional taken pictures let me down? and if this will stop me getting shoots rather than if I had proffesional?
What do you think?
Thanks!

Jemma, you are new to the industry. Everyone has got to start somewhere. These pictures are much better than camera phone ones. There is no reason these should stop you from getting any shoots to start with.

Pose and styling are good. I'd be happy to do you a shoot if you can provide a location or if you can travel (1 1/2 hours by car)?
Oh, and welcome!!!

Anything within your levels and either casual (as in at home) pretty much what you have got, outdoor or portable studio......
For TFCD I generally shoot to the model's requirements!
I'll send you a PM....

To be honest I think that these images are adequate for gaining initial interest and with your height and stats you will have no problem at all in getting a shoot. You can easily afford to be very picky about who you do TF* with and if you have the posing ability and facial expressions to match you looks then I'm sure you will do very well.
Good luck

TF* is Time For.....whatever, usually prints or CD of images from a shoot. ie you give your time for a shoot and in return you get some pictures
there are many slight variations, some give all images on a disc, others pick the best and edit them, its best to be sure what you are getting before agreeing.

Many amateurs on here, I think you look great and to be honest, when I initially see someone's portfolio who's obviously an experienced pro I can find it somewhat intimidating to think she might even consder being photographed by a hobbyst such as me. I'm sure I'm not the only tog who's more comfortable photographing a model who's less experienced, who's not got a load of professional shots in her portfolio. Good luck!

I would rather see the raw model rather then after the photographer has coached them and makeup has applied their magic, I would like to see portfolio photographs very casual and very little or no makeup its like having a blank canvas as for your photographs I would give you a few hours TFCD

Your photos are easily good enough to enable a photographer to decide if they would like to shoot with you or not.
Be aware that there isn't much work out there at the moment.
I'd shoot with you if you were local !

I personally think you are stunning and these photographs reflect this- even though they are not professional, it certainly gives the photographer a good indication of what you would like in a photoshoot :)
Best wishes,
Helen x

Best wishes,
Helen x Perhaps the non-professional bit that irks is that fact that people have been interested, but with no response.
This is not about how professional you/we are, its about how professional you/we act.
Oh, and never use the toilet pic again, there is just something about candid pics in ladies toilets that just doesn't appeal. Of all the shots, thats the one that says having a laugh, but really not taking this seriously!
