I think the top one is too bright I am afraid, I liek the model pose though and the idea, showing the back is always a sexy shot.

Same issue with next down, too bright, not keen on the neck here as it crinkles too much and one eye of hers looks squinted.

Next down is ok (these all suffer from over brightness by the way) but unfortunately the lighting issue loses you all detail, you are not getting any good shadows.

The 4 with the 2 of her in a hat, one I think too much hair is covering her face and worse her neck plus the skin looks blotchy, again the lighting is off. It looks like you are still learning your lighting which seems to be your biggest issue (a photographer could advise better I am sure).

The side profile in the hat is not bad but not very sharp.

The bottom 2 images one is very blurred and the other the pink underwear with the over brigtness looks like she has sun burn rather than her wearing underwear I am afraid.

I think your best shot is the black and white image by far. I like the smile and it captures the model well.

I hope that helps.

1 & 3 have the most potential for me - but I'd want to go back to the RAW file and completely redo the post production. On pic 4 it would have been better though to have not cropped your leg out - this would have worked better in landscape I think, but could be salvaged with some judicious cropping. The others I'm afraid look rather amateurish and don't flatter. Taking the portfolio as a showreel to gain more work, then based on this as it currently stands it would be hard to offer a test even. My opinion only.

It is a very big learning curve I'm still learning but thankful for the web I managed to get to learn with the basic's and then took it from there myself. You will pick it up but if you have time with the model (Not sure if your model is paid) or as I did with a mannequin when the wife got fed up! I moved the light around even if its inches take a shot then work out from there from what I see your images that the background is great but you need to highlight the model a little more.

Just my 2p's worth hope it helps.

I think the first 3 images are not so much too bright as lacking in contrast.I had a quick play in photoshop and although everyone has a different inerpretation of an image, for me I think they could look better with a levels tweak for starters. In levels i set the black pointer to 73,midtones to 1.4 and highlights to 236.Maybe try that and see what you think?

Like i say,its only my opinion.Maybe you were going for the low contrast hazy look???
