I seem to be taking over with forum posts lately and i apologise.
Anyway, here is the question. I own a SB600 which i know you can use off camera. I also know the SB800 can be used also. Question is can they both be used at the same time...i only ask as they run off different channels (or so i`m led to believe).
Any help please.

You should be able to set them both to the same channel - you can with the SB-900. You control each flash separately by setting one to 'A' and the other to 'B' - assuming your camera allows you to set the power & mode via its menu and onboard flash. Otherwise you will have to set the flashes manually.

Yes i can use the integrated flash as a commander unit as i have been messing about with it. I have got the SB600 at the moment. Was thinking of getting another SB600 and a SU800 as well. Still thinking about it though.
