Sorry to say that I don't really like them. The horse shots are more about the horse than you.
Your main image at the moment looks like it's been cut and pasted onto the backgroung and what has happened to your head in the same shot. Very blurry and over smoothed.
The only one I like is the one where you are laying on the car.
You have far better on your port already.

Tend to agree with Keith, except for the shot of you draped over the toyota, which I don't like (mainly because it is a pretty awful image and does you no favours whatsoever).

Your protfolio has suddenly become swamped with images, huge numbers of which seem very similar.

Personally, I take this as a bad sign.  It tends to suggest a newbie model who sees quantity as more important than quality.  My advice would be to be ruthless and chop back to a max of about eight images that reflect your levels and show you off in the best possible way.

Jeremy

Thank you for sharing your opinions.
i will take your advice,
apart from the comment about my toyota pic because i personally think its fantastic so will remain on my portfolio.
I dont think i should get rid of any of my new images, edit them better- yes. But i think the horse images are beautiful and unique. it shouldnt always be about just the model, but the whole image. And i think the horse pics are fab.
But thanks for sharing

I think the op needs another 6 months infront of the camera to learn how to pose. Depending on the photographers.

not only that, she is a very insensitive person which could be described using another term that I will spear you guys hearing, but this is what she wrote to me in an old post when I didn't even address her before:

"studioio you are a good photographer , but the model you like to use quite alot, the muscular one with fake boobs lets your work down! i dont mean to sound harsh to her but its just my opinion.
You should re create these images with a more natural, toned but not muscular model.
I think it will really compliment your work.
Sorry, no offense caused to the model or yourself.
I just prefer more natural looking images, again just my opinion
"
-------------------------
I responded by saying (I knew that model was in a shoot at the time and was hoping she wont see this post before this swindle thing re-edit):
-------------------------
"Thank you for the compliment-May I ask you for a big favour please, could you kindly re-edit your post, it can be quite hurtful-not to me.
P.s they're natural-please re-edit."

-------------------------
she replied:
-------------------------
If i knew how! lol  (What a lire)
No offence was intended its just my personal opinion, the model looks great and clearly takes alot of time to get in shape. I just dont think it suits your type of photography is all.
she has a very specific, sporty look. i think she should focus more on fitness modelling if she wants to look that way, rather than glamour.
Again, really no offense intended.
Aimee

-------------------------
so I replied by putting one of her photos next to the model she was criticising photo and without saying much..as the comparison was laughable lol she looked like an *** *** and ofcourse she got very very angry and she forgot what she said earlier about her intentions and wrote:
I commented about your portfolio because you were quick to tell hannah to delete one of her images which is not fair. No body else got a look in because you told her it was not good enough, who are you to decide?
Oh and by the way
......
-------------------------
Hannah is a lovely model who I advised upon her request for advice to replace one of her photos because genuinely I didn't think it was her best to put as one of only 6 photos allowed and Hannah was satisfied with my advice..but this swindle thing decided to attack me by saying she cares and I'm a good photographer and I shouldn't use that Fake model..although that model did nothing to her but she didn't care putting down a model she never met because she felt my advice to another model is wrong!!! is this swindle completely out of her head or what!

-------------------------
I admit I have my issues but I try my best to rethink about points made against me, with people like her I can't help not be suspicious and be defensive, there are very few people I trust on here, Chris Recco, GCImages, Danjpop, KT101 and other good people..who am sure I provoked unintentionally before but managed to restrain from retaliating  Member Image   something I'm not very good at.

Save us from models with overinflated egos.
Waits for op's grilling about models on my port.
But then again the op is 18 so limited experience and knowledge.

Studioio - kinda rankles a little bit of he said she said **** - not sure this forum is is meant for  personal battles -

The written word can offen be misunderstood and sometimes we need to sit back and really look at what has been written and see how much damage is actually being done -

If you disagree with Aimee or feel she has upset you then maybe a discreet message to her would have been mature than entering into some kind of slanging match on a public forum -

This site it great but it does seem to have a lot of overinflated egos and people willing to have a go at others at the drop of a hat  - quoting "people like her" in an open forum is just as demaening to her as her remarks about Hannah were to you - so therefore it doesnt make you any better than her -

COME ON GUYS - think about it - lets all try and keep this site Civil and not turn forums into a place where everyone can feel free to slag each off - most of us have stuff we want to say - if it is negative lets still keep it friendly and try to do it via a private message - if this does not work then let the moderators sort it out - no one likes to hear negative comments about models, mau's or togs there are friendly with in Forums

I do not wish to sound mean but...That main image makes your head look like a waxworks that has melted a little in the sun.  You should drop it.
I am truly sorry, your photos are all poor.  The colours look over-saturated and the retouching is a horror show.
You are probably a pretty girl.  You do have a good figure but the make up is always poorly applied and unflattering.  You need to do something with your hair to.  It looks as though you have extensions.  Do you?

Your posing is lower end lads mag.

I do not understand you at all.  You obviously have the drive and the body to do much much better work.  It's as though you set yourself low expectations from your shots.  Please engage a good photographer.  Listen to him and get someone else to do your make up.  I bet you would be a completely different model.

This is meant as encouragement to meet your potential, not to upset or offend you.

I'd have to agree with previous comments I'm afriad, i struggle to find a shot in your portfolio that I feel shows you at your full potential or even close. Such heavy processing says nothing to me other than "Avoid and expect terrible skin"
I'm not saying you have got bad skin but this processing is so often indicative of an inexperienced photographer having problems dealing with poor skin

Some of the op's pic's look like Myspace as opposed to a photographic site.

for some reason it trippled posted my reply when I re-edited and corrected spelling mistake Member Image , here's the post and hope this time it will post it only once.

I really don't want to turn this about me, and I do dislike the 'he said she said' but I done it so whoever reads it get the full picture about her through my experience which isn't necessarily indicative of the real her but all I can say it's my experience, I do not like demeaning anyone but at the same time I value people I work with greatly and I would defend them fiercely, and believe it or not I'm quite friendly and humorous person however maybe due to the competitive nature of where I used to work for years I'm very sceptic of people and she was a perfect example, I explained ALL of what I explained in my previous post because of the way I feel; I'm quite misunderstood and just in case you missed the point somewhere in-between the 'he said she said' I'll briefly recap; out of nowhere she calls a model I worked with fake and muscular and I shouldn't use her because she's not good enough for glamour and because my work is better than that, although I knew straight away her motives but I thought give it the benefit of the doubt and I asked her do me a big fav please and re edit it so it doesn't hurt the model feelings so she responds by laughing and saying she does not know how to re edit (she didn't ask how she can edit), even though I didn't retaliate straight away and gave her a chance but still she laughed at this 'please don't be so hurtful' to other's feelings-it's like twisting the knife after stabbing someone, and further more she admits her motive isn't compassion but rather is making me angry and provoking me, so what do I do!!! what would you do!! I'm all for love and peace and white doves (red ones too :). but that's too much to ignore, I do dislike this kind of display as it doesn't make me look good either...but it wasn't avoidable as far as I'm concerned and she got a little of her own medicine so maybe she can learn the lesson which I think everyone learned as part of becoming a mature person but for some reason she's immune against growing up, Love NP and love to have a joke and a laugh all the time but some people just attack you out of nowhere or maybe it's just me! (probably). will try to be a little more chilled out.
Regards
Ali

This is the second or third time this model has asked for opinions on her folio.
She has been advised to drop the similar pics ie the yellow walls, and various other advice which has fallen on deaf ears. I dont think this is about wanting an opinion but exposure through a forum. There has been lots of good advice given, most of it was initially constructive, whilst she may not agree with it all she doesnt seem to agree with any of it. In which case why ask!?
I think its starting to wrankle a few photographers who have endeavoured to be objective.
We all have pictures on our folios we like personally and wouldnt drop even if mostly no-one else likes them, fair enough.
Someone has said most of the models images are poor but they are still there. It would be reasonable to expect her to remove most and have a couple of good ones and work on better ones, if she really values thier advice, she hasn't.

Enough already.  For goodness sake childish comments and ganging up on Aimee - how very clever of you all - some of you needd to go back and actually read some of you comments - although you think you are being clever and superior infact some of your comments are ill thaught out and lack any intelligence at all - you all seem to think that you are better than her when actaully the way you are all acting is appaulling.  Despite what you might think the girl has feelings too - she may have made some comments which were not taken the right way but ffs enough is enough!!

Stick to making constructive comments - this is a forum for a photography website were people should be acting in a proffesional manor - something i have seen very little of!

In the words of the op ' let me know what you think'.
I've noticed that the only 2 togs that have come out in support of the op are the one's she's worked with.

I think once the op gets some professional  (2x s and 1 f) images we'll see a different side to her.
