Upon applying to the site, maybe it should be explained that if you have no pics except ones taken by yourself with your camera phone, your level clearly is not intermediate or above. Then to suggest you only work for pay?!
Seriously now. It might help to have some basic guidlines exlaining this so these girls aren't wasting their time or anyone elses, and actually get some offers to shoot them rather than most likely be totally ignored.

Hello,
Useful information to add to this thread:
Guidelines are provided for members joining the site regarding setting experience levels and can also be found here:
http://www.net-portfolio.com/SiteReviewSystem.aspx
- No Experience – This is you only have web cam, mobile phone or holiday snaps
- New to industry – If you have only done 1 or 2 shoots and/or have not yet built your confidence to consider yourself a higher level
- Limited Experience – For those who are not new but still have not worked with many other models/photographers with limited portfolios and standard
- Intermediate – Wide variety of experience with different models, mua's etc, doing regular shoots and have a fair number of images to choose from.
- Advanced – You have a varied portfolio, you might be semi-professional, most likely are being offered work regularly and your portfolio will be of a high polished standard
- Professional – You do this for a living is a must, the level of work must be exceptional and clearly of top level work.
We also forcibly adjust profiles experience and remove images when not suitable. The members are always free to adjust the level back however without improving their images before doing so they risk suspension.
We have in the past and will continue to remove members that ignore our moderation on experience levels when we see the need to adjust it.

Yes it is the same for Togs too.

I think their work should speak for itself, but of course it should apply to all categories. Clearly the guidelines posted above are simply ignored all to often by togs, models, digital retouchers etc. All professing to be punching way above their real weight class. Point being, no one is getting fooled so knock it on the head is all I'm saying.

Because it's all in their mind and on the net they can be anyone they want to be.

I come across photographers who call themselves advanced/professional/top of their game then you look at their port and their shots are a pile of pants! There just needs to be some control over this as well as models making out they're more experienced than they are.
