Why does the next Miss England need to live within 30 minutes of Harrogate?

Where've you seen that, like? Usually they say things like that for the regional heats, is this what it is?

Castings on the front page although I now see that it is for someone to apply for Miss Harrogate to win to be put forward to the semi's. Totally unsure where Harrogate's endorsement is, as opposed to one studio/agent's bid? I also think that the £1000 'bait' is not at the discretion of the poster (correct me if I am wrong), BUT I am uncomfortable with the lure.
I don't think that anyone shouting money on some other organisation's behalf should be allowed. My opinion, and shoot me down if necessary. I could offer a million if my next set is the 2011 pirelli calender, but it ain't going to happen!

I read that post and thought it was a little insincere for a casting to say the least (my interpretation maybe I am wrong??) I just hope that everyone else who reads it (especially models as they aren't casting for the likes of me !!) also picks up on exactly what is on offer or at least qualifies what is really being offered and if it is still for them then go for it, but I would have liked to see the wording it little more clear to start with.

Glenn Its just a badly worded request for girls to apply for the upcoming Miss Harrogate heat of the Miss England 2010 competition , one of about 40+ regional heats going on throughout the UK in the next couple of months.
Many of the heats are franchised by the Miss England organisation for smaller agencies or individuals to run on their behalf
The winner of Miss Harrogate goes forward to the Miss England semi final round held in June, i think ,where they compete to join many of the heat winners from the larger cities who have gone directly into the Miss England final
Hope that helps!!
btw i have no connection with the original casting post
