Just because you want to be an "alt model", don't settle for second rate shots, poses, wardrobe and facial expressions.  

Honestly, you need to pretty up your portfolio as you do not fall into the artistic style and the photos are not in the least bit flattering.  The only one that I think is good is the profile with blonde hair.

  I like your look but I'm afraid the rings in your lips don't float my boat.  Am I allowed to say that?  You're a pretty girl and I respect you want to be alternative and I love your pics.  I'm just an old fart I suppose.  I remember my Dad telling me off when I started doing things like buying Sex Pistols records - He preferred Lena Zavaroni.

Welcome to NP, I think it's good that you want to show your true side. Keep it up and find the right tog and you should not go far wrong.

I mea that even alt photos can be well shot, well made up and well styled.  Google Lithium Picnic or Apnea for some great examples.

I know that being alt means styling yourself how you feel you want to be represented but the best alt models often shoot with alt styling in a mainstream style.

I'll take that on board in any future shoots I do. It's true I like the representation of myself in the alternative style, but in a mainstream style it could work and it's worth a shot! :)Thanks for the advice!Charleyy x
