I have recently joined the gym but as it is a small one there isn't personal trainers? I am not sure if i am exercising right or what would be the best way to do things to get the result i want?

I want to loose a bit of weight, i am a size 10 but would like to get to a size 8 and loose abit of fat and tone up?
not sure if anyone knows of any good exercies to help me achieve this?

If anyone has any sort of advice about this be great to hear from you?

If i can i want to see a change asap..say in a months time? i try eat as healthy as i can but it is hard to stay away from all the yummy foods
Has anyone also tried any diets that work?

Thanks, Carly Ann x

I can't help you on the diet question but my wife just bought Winsors Pilates, Its a flexiable disk and you get a 20min workout DVD and from what we been told by a few people it truely does work. She not started on it yet she making a date to start on it but it worth a look in to it.

Just my 2p's worth.

Hey Carly,

I have just started yoga and spinning classes. I'm not really one for staying at a gym for hours so they work really well for me. One of my friends has been doing yoga for about 4 months, she has gone down from a  size 14 to a 10 and she is still eating her treats as well!

Hi Carly Ann,

My son lost 7 stone (yes really) by following Weight Watchers strictly for a year. He didn't really have to cut out things, just watch what quantities you eat.

He went from 22 stone (he is 6ft 5" mind) to 15 stone.

You'll do it no trouble (not that you need to)

yeah yoga is brilliant for it, its not as easy as it looks tho lol. and boxercise classes are good for a higher energy workout, it also gets rid of stress if you have any!
and yeah my mam did weight watchers n she lost loads of weight, its jus about like portion control really.
a good tip i got from a women from work is put your dinner on smaller plates so it still looks full, that way when its empty your brain tells you your full! x
