Training Workshops at Lowford Studio
I'm Chris Brick, a professional photographer with some 18 years experience in photography and teaching photography and I'm a great believer of 'You get what you pay for' and this is true for all the courses and workshops provided by CCB Photography at Lowford Studio. I offer excellent training for small classes at reasonable prices.
This is the CCB Photography/Lowford Studio Difference.
Many people can get 10 photographers in to a room and talk to them for a few hours, then let them have a shoot at the featured model.
At Lowford Studio, we don't do that.
With an average of 4 photographer on a workshop. It's a hands on day where you listen, implement and practice, listen Implement and practice. This aids retention of information and gives you hand on training.
Many photographers will show you how they do it. But do they? Do they want you doing it the same as they do? I think not.
At Lowford Studio, we don't do that.
We show you the equipment. What it's called, what it does and what effect it will produce. WE will show you how to build and create a photograph so you can go, practice and create you own style, you own images.
Many Studios will advertise a day workshop. That work shop may start at 1100 and finish at 1600, thats 5 hours.
At Lowford Studio we don't do that.
At Lowford Studio, a day workshop starts at 1000 and finishes at 1800. Thats 8 hours of practical training with a proven instructor and a high quality model in an extremely well equipped studio with good communication links for train, bus and motorway.
Many studios will pack as many photographers in as they can and charge you £100 each.
At Lowford Studio, we don't do that.
We keep the numbers low to make sure you take on the information being given. So we can talk to you on a one to one basis, so we can answer you questions when you have them. The subsequence is that you will probably pay more than other workshops. That brings me neatly to my first statement. You get what you pay for.
Take a course and see for yourself. If you do not agree, I'll give you your training fee* back.
* Training fee is the cost of your workshop minus the model fee.
Testimonial.

I found Chris explained the basics clearly and thoroughly and with great patients.
The Practical exercises really them helped to put the theoretical aspects in to context.
I leant a great deal and now feel more ready to start putting that in to practice in the real world.
